Hello,
This is a question for the other readers in the circle – and perhaps for Neil too.
I’m married. I have children. I’m happy. But I don’t look average. I have a shaven head, because I’m bald and I had to (Neil’s problem). And although it’s not bugging me or my wife, I do sometimes get yelled at from a distance. “Baldie” is not a nice thing to hear coming from some youngsters whom you are passing by on the street.
So, my question is: can you avoid this thing ? And if not, how can you react to it ? And if you should just ignore it, how do you deal with the emotional sting when it happens ?
It happens to me several times each year and I really don’t know what to do… I also don’t know how to react when friends or colleagues make fun of this.
So, although this question may get chuckles, please help…
Thanks in advance,
Emergency
