The Zombie Survival Guide, by Max Brooks, is an ingenious parody of Military Survival Manuals that prepares readers for the inevitable Zombie Apocalypse. The manual gives detailed plans for defense and past attacks and virtually every conceivable zombie encounter. The Guide even details out optimal Zombie Bug Out Bag contents.
One would expect the son of Mel Brooks to have a side-splitting sense of humor and Max Brooks does not disappoint.

When Zombies are attacking you don’t want to forget some critical piece of information from The Zombie Survival Guide. The Zombie Survival Guide Deck, also by Max Brooks, are a great way to memorize all you would ever need to know about fighting off the hordes of undead in a familiar flash card format. Just slightly larger than a deck of cards, the Survival Guide Desk fits neatly in your pocket for when you are on the go.
Max Brook’s meticulous attention to detail is almost as scare as the Zombies themselves. The deck contains all the quick reference information a person in a struggle to stay ahead of Zombies could need.
Survival Kit in a Sardine Can
The idea has been around for a little while now, put a mini survival kit in a Sardine Can. The Tootsie Roll everyone puts in them always makes me laugh for some reason.

Sardines come packed in metal tins and even though they are a good source of omega 3 fatty acids, they are still oily and kind of funky smelling. No offense to any fans out there but we feel the metal tins could be put too much better use. Here we have a genuine air-tight, waterproof, crush proof sardine can packed full of 25 survival items. Go fish with the hook and line, find your way home with the compass, boil water in the can for your tea and sugar, use the first aid supplies to survive the wilderness. Since being well prepared is half the challenge, you’ll have a good head start with this kit.
