Sometimes I get turned onto a video with a view count in the millions and think: “Am I the only person on the planet who never knew about this guy?”

So in case I’m wrong, and you haven’t seen Remi Gaillard’s post-Jackass Situationism-inspired videos yet, sit down and hold onto your sides:

Now, a lot of Remi detractors say that he is just ripping off the English show Trigger Happy TV. But the difference is that the costumed animals on Trigger Happy TV often assault confederates who are in on the joke, whereas Remi pushes it beyond Jackass extremes and loves assaulting people with the power to either kick his ass or arrest him, both of which almost happen in this video compilation:

He also does the same bits much better, with ten times more balls.
